Nancy Smith

Nancy C. Smith, ASA, is an independent valuation analyst working under contract for The Malibu Group. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati. She has more than 20 years experience in valuing closely held companies and their securities for a wide range of purposes including but not limited to purchase and sale, feasibility study, buy-sell agreements, employee stock ownership plans, gift tax, estate tax, divorce, ad valorem tax, and fairness opinions. Smith also assists business owners with succession planning and exit strategies to enhance value consistent with business and personal objectives. She is a member of the American Society of Appraisers and holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in Business Valuation. Smith has provided expert witness testimony in State of Ohio Tax Court.

Smith previously worked in the Special Business Unit in the Trust Department at PNC Bank and as a Senior Financial Analyst at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
